Raul Walch<\/strong> is an artist and activist who utilizes textiles, sculpture, and photography to explore themes such as the environment, migration, and identity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has built several fountains in public spaces, such as in front of Berlin\u2019s Nationalgalerie, inviting passersby to cool off and exchange ideas. At the Legler Areal, he provides a similar communal space where people gather around a fountain with a pool, contemplating the future and imagining alternative narratives and scenarios. The title of his work, Ain\u2019t no Fountain high enough <\/em>(2024), suggests that there are no limits to his artistic and political commitment, and that he not only comments on the world but actively shapes it. His works often evolve through collaborative, performative processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After studying sculpture at the Weissensee Kunsthochschule (Berlin), Raul Walch<\/strong> (*1980, DE, lives in Berlin) completed his education under Olafur Eliasson at the Berlin University of the Arts. He later held a scholarship at the Institute for Spatial Experiments (Berlin). His works have been exhibited at venues such as Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum f\u00fcr Gegenwart (Berlin), Bundeskunsthalle (Bonn), Berlinische Galerie, Museum der bildenden K\u00fcnste (Leipzig), Urbane K\u00fcnste Ruhr, and Museum Tinguely (Basel).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Raul Walch ist K\u00fcnstler und Aktivist, der mit Textilien, Skulpturen und Fotografien zu Themen wie Umwelt, Migration und Identit\u00e4t arbeitet.
