She is an architect, writer and publisher with a PhD in Art History and Theory, in which her interest in interpretations of land and landscape as architectural, specifically in postcolonial Mexico, began. Having worked as an architect in London and Seville, her specialism in architectural drawing began during her time at the Victoria & Albert Museum, London, where she interpreted the architectural collections. Other defining themes for writing and publishing are the promotion and celebration of women in architecture, collective work, and the relationship between international networks and a living community. Six years at Phaidon Press running the Architecture Atlas and digital publication teams provided the groundwork for the annotated bibliography and publishing venture womenwritingarchitecture.org, through which the Ennenda-based Verein, Tisch Zwei, connects the global to the local.","link":"https:\/\/www.kloentaltriennale.ch\/hinterland\/dev\/?author=24","slug":"helenthomas","avatar_urls":{"24":"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/5cb2dac52acc4eff4576f6272e2283abc26d66f6401446780f0ee95628305343?s=24&d=mm&r=g","48":"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/5cb2dac52acc4eff4576f6272e2283abc26d66f6401446780f0ee95628305343?s=48&d=mm&r=g","96":"https:\/\/secure.gravatar.com\/avatar\/5cb2dac52acc4eff4576f6272e2283abc26d66f6401446780f0ee95628305343?s=96&d=mm&r=g"},"meta":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.kloentaltriennale.ch\/hinterland\/dev\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/24","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.kloentaltriennale.ch\/hinterland\/dev\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users"}]}}
